Mrs. G. D. Williams Succumbs in New Orleans Aug. 17

Wife of Former Manager of Chevrolet Company Dies

Mrs. G. D. Williams, 33, died Wednesday in a New Orleans hospital, according
to news received here this week.  Mrs. Williams was the wife of G. D.
Williams, who until several weeks ago was manager of the Max Thieme Chevrolet
Company.  They had resided in Winnfield for the past two years.  Mrs. Williams
was very active in church work and took a leading part in the Methodist
Missionary Society.  Both she and Mr. Williams made many friends during their
stay in Winnfield who will be grieved to learn of her untimely death.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 4 p.m. at the First English Evangelical
Lutheran Church with interment in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband and a three year old son, Doyne, and her mother,
all of New Orleans.
