C. Williams, 63, Dies After Long Illness Troy C. Williams, 63, of Route 1, Georgetown, died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 1972, at the Hardtner Medical Center at Urania following a long illness. He was a native of Georgetown. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vergie Williams of Georgetown; three sons, Thomas Williams of Shreveport, J. C. Williams and Terry W. Williams, both of Georgetown; two brothers, L. J. Williams of Winnfield and H. H. Williams of Georgetown; four sisters, Mrs. Eula Stamper of Grayson, Mrs. Pearl Carter of Georgetown, Mrs. Mattie Gray of Georgetown, and Mrs. Edith Jordan of Winnfield; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Victor Mathews and Rev. Louis Moffett officiating. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Pallbearers were D. A. Green, E. L. Williams, James B. Carter, Carl R. Williams, W. O. Stamper, C. R. Stamper, C. L. Stamper, and B. K. Williams.
