Negro Boy Accidentally Killed This Morning

Theo Williams, 9 year old negro boy was accidentally shot through the heart
this morning at 6:30 o'clock with a bullet from a 32 pistol at his home in the
McDonald quarters.  No one was in the house at the time of the shooting except
his 3 year old sister.

When Jesse Murray, a negro neighbor, heard the shot, she immediately went over
and found the boy dead and his young sister holding the gun.  It was not known
whether the boy accidentally shot himself and she picked up the pistol after
he fired or whether the little girl did the shooting.

Dr. J. F. Faith, coroner, investigated the shooting and pronounced it
accidental.  The child was the son of Wilson and Alice Williams, who were away
from home digging fish bait when the accident occurred.
