Womack, 73, of Winnfield, died at 10:28 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 1973 in a local hospital here after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Huey White officiating. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery at Joyce. Survivors include her husband, Walter Womack of Winnfield; two sons, Herbert L. Warbington of Winnfield, and Lessie F. Warbington of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Carter of Cleveland, Tex. and Mrs. Violet Case of Houston, Tex.; two step-sons, Roy Womack of Shreveport, and E. C. Womack of Jordan Hill; two step-daughters, Mrs. Arvis Jordan and Mrs. Jessie Weatherford both of Winnfield; one brother, Henry Quaid of Jena; two sisters, Mrs. Aris Knightin of West Monroe and Mrs. Altha Guthrie of Sikes; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
