Funeral Rites Held Friday For C. W. Womack

Funeral rites for Clarence W. Womack, 61 year old Winn Parish man, were held
at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Hart Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Lonnie
Fogger and the Rev. Ray Blount officiating.  Burial was in the Sikes Cemetery
under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home.

Mr. Womack died Wednesday night, January 31, 1968, at his home near Sikes
after a brief illness.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the Assembly
of God Church.

He leaves his wife; five sons, C. W. Womack of Corning, Calif., John Howard
Womack of Natchitoches, Richard Womack, Henry Lee Womack, and James Donald
Womack, all of Sikes; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Moore of Tyler, Texas;
Mrs. Patricia Young of Monroe, Mrs. Glenda McDowell of Winnfield, Mrs. Patty
Underwood, Mrs. Iwilla Brumfield, and Miss Vickie Ann Womack, all of Sikes;
two brothers, Walter Womack of Winnfield and Abe Womack of Sikes; and 26
grandchildren.
