Colored Deaths

Elgie Woods

Elgie Woods, 69, of Winnfield died at his home in Hatfield Addition, January
17, 1953, as result of pneumonia.

Funeral services were held January 20, at the Union Baptist church with
interment in a Colfax Cemetery.

Rev. E. D. Taylor and Rev. W. S. Clark were officiating ministers.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Carrie Woods, of Winnfield.
