Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Wood Is Buried at Coushatta

Anne Elizabeth Wood, two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Wood of
Coushatta, former residents of Winnfield, died in a Shreveport sanitarium
Wednesday at 2 p.m. after a prolonged illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Wellan's Funeral Home
with the Rev. John Caylor of the Shreveport Highland Baptist Church
officiating.  Interment was in the Springville Cemetery, Coushatta.

Surviving the deceased are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Wood; her maternal
grandmother, Mrs. Dora Nix, and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M.
Wood of Winnfield.

Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. John Wood, Mrs. O. B.
Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Wood and Mr. Herbert Garrard.
