Funeral Services Held For George Woods of Sikes

George Pendleton Woods, 84, died at an Alexandria hospital Wednesday, April
17, 1946, following an illness of six weeks.  Funeral services were conducted
at the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church Thursday, with the Rev. Shows
officiating.  Burial was under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mollie Wood; four sons, Wade,
Howard, Burley, and John Woods of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy
Sandidge, Utah; and Estelle Woods, Winnfield.
