J. C. Wood, Native Of Winn, Dies In Jacksonville, Fla.

Funeral services were held in Monroe Feb. 26 for J. C. Wood, native of Winn
Parish, who died at his home in Jacksonville, Fla., Feb. 23.  He was a
prominent business man of Jacksonville, being assistant superintendent of
National Container Corp.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jessie Lee Wood, and one son, Billy,
Jacksonville; his mother, Mrs. R. L. Adams, Winnsboro; two brothers, J. O.
Wood, Alexandria; Harvel Wood, Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. H. H. Hammons,
Winnsboro.
