66 Year Old Negro Found Dead At Home Sunday Night

Effie Woodward, 66 year old Winnfield Negro, was found dead in his home in the
L & A Quarters Sunday night.  Deputy Coroner Dr. James Lashley said Woodward
apparently died of natural causes.

His body was found by city police and sheriff's deputies who made a search
of his house after neighbors reported missing seeing him for several days.

Authorities said he had been dead for several days.  Funeral arrangements are
under direction of Ben Johnson Funeral Home.
