W. B. "Bill" Woods Succumbs; Rites In Montgomery

Wilmont B. "Bill" Woods, 53, of Montgomery, died March 22, 1969 at 11:15 a.m.

Mr. Woods was Fleet Foreman with the Louisiana Department of Highways, a
Veteran of World War II, and a native of Grant Parish.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Montgomery First Baptist Church with Rev.
J. O. Dumas, Rev. R. L. Moore, and Rev. J. D. Enterkin officiating.  Interment
was in Montgomery Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Effie S. Woods, one son, Will Eugene Woods
of Montgomery, one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Nell Gilcrease of California, his
mother, Mrs. Bennie Mae Fletcher of Montgmoery, five brothers and two sisters
and two grandchildren.
