W. Worsham Is Buried at Paradise Tuesday, Aug. 28

William Worsham, age 50, of Alexandria, died at the Veterans Administration
Hospital in Hines, Ill., Thursday, August 23, 1945, following an operation.

He is survived by his wife, Leona Pettway Worsham; three children, Billy
Brian, Edward and Neva Lou; his mother, Mrs. J. S. Worsham, Winnfield; two
sisters, Mrs. Dora Daigre, Winnfield, Mrs. May Daron, Walker; and one brother,
Finas Worsham, Lafayette.

Funeral services were held at the Palestine Methodist Church, Paradise, La.,
Tuesday, August 28, under the direction of Hixson Brothers.

Mr. Worsham was a veteran of World War I.
