Wright, 39, son of Mrs. Olive Long Wright, and the late R. B. Wright, died in a New Orleans hospital at 1 o'clock Sunday morning following an illness of six months duration. The remains were brought to Winnfield at 4 a.m. Monday morning and funeral services were held at 3 p.m. from the family residence with the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, Rev. A. H. Cullen of West Franfort, Ill., and Rev. G. A. Morgan, pastor Winnfield Methodist Church were in charge of the services. Pallbearers were James Bevill, Joe Terrill, Jack Ezell, Everett Felix, Clyde DeLoach, and H. F. Halstead. Mr. Wright was a native of Winnfield and had a large family connection in the state. Survivors are a son, Dallas, aged 10, his mother, three brothers, Bowman, Fount, and John W. Wright, of Winnfield; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Grigsby, Mrs. Jack Ezell, Mrs. H. F. Holstead, of Winnfield and Mrs. F. W. Keith of Alexandria.
