Mother of Mrs. G. C. McCarty Succumbs

Mrs. Lamora B. Wright, 68, an invalid of 11 years, passed away on January 24
in an Alexandria hospital.  Services were held locally at the Southern Funeral
Home with the Rev. Eugene Langford, Edward Smith, and Edgar Gunter in charge.

Funeral services were held in West Monroe at the First Baptist Church with Dr.
Floyd McCarty officiating.  Interment followed in the Hasley Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. G. C. McCarty of Winnfield; one son,
Hubert W. Wright of Beaumont, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. W. M. Reynolds and
Mrs. J. A. Hargrove, both of West Monroe, Mrs. L. R. Taggert of Monroe, and
Mrs. M. A. Jordan of Winnfield.
