Warner Succumbs Dec. 17 At Son's Home Ruben R. Warner, 81, who had been ill for eight weeks, died Dec. 17 in the home of his son, Henry Warner, on Atlanta highway. Funeral services were held at Zion Hill Church, Dec. 18, with Rev. Alwin Stokes of Winnfield officiating. Burial was in the Zion Hill Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Cecil Berry, Rev. Calvin Robinson, Russell Tullos, Moody Berry, Miley Walsworth, and Charlie Ray. Mr. Warner was born Feb. 23, 1868 in Natchitoches Parish. He had been a resident of Winn Parish practically all his life. He is survived by five sons and four daughters; Tommie and Henry Warner of Winnfield; George Warner of Winnsboro; Lee and Arnold of Wisner; Mrs. Ruby Wood of Ruston; Mrs. Bessie Womack, Winnsboro; Mrs. Mendy Stringer, Keltys, Texas; and Mrs. Edna Thomas, Shreveport.
