Last Rites For H. H. Worsham To Be Held Friday

Herbert Hilton Worsham, 86, retired farmer and resident of Natchitoches
Highway, Winnfield, died at 3 p.m. March 7, 1962, in a local hospital
following a lengthy illness.  His remains lie in state at Southern Funeral
Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Atlanta Baptist
Church with Rev. C. C. Martin, pastor of Laurel Heights Baptist Church, and
Dr. Randall Sledge of Shreveport officiating.  Burial will be in the church
cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Nephews of the deceased will act as pallbearers.

A native of Bienville Parish, Mr. Worsham came to the Atlanta Community when a
small child and spent most of his life there where he farmed and reared his
family.  He was a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. H. H. Worsham, Winnfield; two sons, Murphy
Worsham, Winnfield, and Joe L. Worsham, Shreveport; one daughter, Mrs. Ray H.
Davison, Blanks, La.; two brothers, Philip Worsham, Coushatta, and W. E.
Worsham, Florien, La.; one sister, Mrs. R. E. Stewart, Shreveport; eight
grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
