Wright No resident of Winnfield will be missed by more people than Wade Wright. He spent his entire life here and his friends were legion. He probably knew more people by name than any other person in Winn Parish. He greeted every one with a smile and words of good cheer. He was kind, generous, thoughtful of the rights of others and polite. No matter what your station in life, the kind of clothes you wore, or the color of your skin, you always received kind treatment at his hands. I never heard him utter an unkind word to or about any one. If he could not say a kind word, he remained silent. His generosity was unpretentious, his kindness sincere, and his love for his fellow man deep and overflowing. I doubt if he had a single enemy. In the final reckoning when the Book is opened, he will have many good deeds to his credit of which his most intimate friends and relatives knew not. If you will turn to the 25th Chapter of Matthew and begin at the 35th verse you will find a promise made by the Master himself that was literally fulfilled by Wade Wright. "In as much as ye did it to the least of these my bretheren, ye did it to me." R. W. Oglesby
