All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: May 29, 1952 Winn Parish Enterprise Former Resident Dies at Funeral of Sister in Law Crozier White, 72, native of Winn and a resident of Monroe, died of a sudden heart attack Tuesday afternoon while attending the funeral of his sister in law, Mrs. Emma (A. J.) White, near Sikes. He was the father of Mrs. Woodrow Wilson of Winnfield. Funeral services were held Thursday in Ridge Avenue Baptist Church, West Monroe, with burial in Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe. Rev. A. T. Mitchell of the Ridge Avenue Church, and W. S. Emmons of Sikes officiated. Mr. White was fatally stricken about 4:30 p.m. in Wright Cemetery east of Sikes. He had attended Mrs. A. J. White's funeral and burial, and was in the cemetery talking to relatives and friends, when he complained of feeling ill, and fell dead. He was a native of Sikes and a retired farmer. He had resided in Monroe for the past three years. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Adams White, Monroe; two sons, M. C. White, Monroe, Arlie White, West Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. J. F. Smith, West Monroe; Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, Winnfield; and Mrs. Elbert Anderson, Bastrop.
