Waters Of Dodson Buried This Thursday Funeral services for Harvey J. Waters, 59, of Dodson, were held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Dodson Methodist Church, following his death Monday of a heart attack. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Alexandria, under direction of Hixson Brothers. Last rites were conducted by Rev. L. G. Shaw of Winnfield, pastor of the Dodson church and Rev. C. J. Hodges of St. Joseph. He was a native of Dodson and was working at Leesville with the State Unemployment Service. He had been with the unemployment service for the past 15 years. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Waters, prominent Winn Parish residents. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Ruth C. Waters, at teacher at the Dodson elementary school; three daughters, Mrs. A. G. McIntosh of St. Joseph, Misses Betty Lou and Dorothy Waters, both of Shreveport; two sons, Harvey J., Jr. of Gary, Ind., and __an, a student at Northwestern State College, Natchitoches; four sisters, Mrs. McHenry Greer and Mrs. Eva Taylor, both of Winnsboro, Mrs. Dewey Simmons, Monroe, and Mrs. Hubert Owens, Alexandria; one brother, Julius of Alexandria.
