Former Resident of This Parish Dies

Mr. Jim Watson, 72 years of age of Dry Prong, La., former resident of the Mars
Hill Community, died at the home of his son in Chester, Texas, March 26, 1936. 
Funeral services were held March 28th at Hebron near Dry Prong.

The deceased suffered an attack of influenza which developed into pneumonia.

Mr. Watson lived for a number of years near Atlanta.  He was first married to
Miss Nettie Morgan and after her death to Miss Lellia Sharbano.

He is survived by five sons, Lonnie, Jeff, of Chester, Texas; Harvey, Gus, and
Willie Watson of Mangham; a daughter, of Louann, Ark., Mrs. Mattie Dyson of
Montgomery, and Mrs. Mae Biddle of Trinity, Texas.  One brother and three
sisters also survive.  They are O. C. Watson of Dry Prong, Mrs. Blackwell of
Pineville, Mrs. Tom Swafford of Colfax, and Mrs. Maudie Futrell of Colfax.
