All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: May 24, 1945 Winn Parish Enterprise Former Winnfield Resident Dies in California Ole Matheson, of San Jose, California, who arrived in Winnfield this week for his annual business visit, has received a telegram informing him that his brother in law, Jim "Fate" Wyatt, a former resident of Winnfield, died suddenly Sunday at Sacramento, Calif. Mr. Wyatt was at one time employed by the Rock Island Railroad, and made Winnfield his headquarters. Surviving Mr. Wyatt are two sisters, Miss Jean Wyatt of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Ole Matheson of San Jose, Calif.; and three brothers, Bob, George, and Clark Wyatt, all of Alexandria, La. Mr. and Mrs. Matheson's daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Johnson, of Sacramento, Calif., succumbed last Christmas. She at one time live in Winnfield with her parents and had many friends in Louisiana.
