All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: January 24, 1954 Winn Parish Enterprise Mrs. Molly Wyatt, Lifelong Parish Resident, Dies Last rites were held Monday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Molly Dickerson Wyatt, 84 year old Winn Parish native. Mrs. Wyatt died Sunday at the home of her son, Glen L. Wyatt of St. Maurice. Services were at the St. Maurice Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. E. A. Keisler, assisted by Rev. Lula Wardlow of Montgomery. Burial was in Couley Double Church Cemtery under direction of a Natchitoches funeral home. Mrs. Wyatt was born September 23, 1869 and a was a lifelong resident of this parish. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Dickerson, pioneer residents of Winn. She was a long time member of the Methodist church. Her survivors include one son, Glen L. Wyatt of St. Maurice; two sisters, Mrs. B. W. Bailey and Mrs. J. R. Hall, both of Winnfield; six stepchildren, Mary Wyatt, Mrs. W. H. Chandler, and Mrs. C. R. Little, all of St. Maurice; Mrs. C. L. Canterbury of Florien, C. F. Wyatt of San Angelo, Texas, and W. P. Wyatt of Homer; and one grandson, George M. Wyatt of Borger, Texas. Pallbearers were J. E. Swafford, Carlos Little, Eugene Barberousse, W. V. Hall, W. T. Britan, and T. H. Barnette.
