Colored Deaths

Buck Wyatt

Funeral services for Buck Wyatt, 58, veteran of World War I, who died in the
Veterans' Hospital, July 12, were held Thursday, July 14, at the Friendship
Baptist Church, Dodson, with the Rev. E. D. Taylor officiating.  Burial was in
the Friendship Cemetery.

Wyatt was born and reared in the Tannehill community.  He leaves his wife,
Lillian, of Winnfield; three brothers, Clate of Winnfield, Limmie of Dodson,
and Curtis of Santa Rosa, Calif; two sisters, Caroline Harris, and Obie Smith,
both of Winnfield.
