P. Wyatt Accident Victim Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Maurice Methodist Church for William Paul Wyatt, 74, of St. Maurice, who was killed late Friday when he wandered away from a nursing home. According to city police, Wyatt was on his hands and knees crawling across U. S. 167 when a car driven by ____________ of Winnfield struck him. The accident occurred less than two blocks from the nursing home where Wyatt lived. The accident was termed unavoidable since ________saw the victim too late to avoid hitting him. Rev. Ed Hinkle officiated at the funeral services Monday, assisted by Rev. Roy Moore. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. He is survived by one son, John Paul Wyatt, with the U. S. Armed Forces; one daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Ivy of Shreveport; two brothers, Glynn Wyatt of St. Maurice and Charles Wyatt of San Angelo, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Chandler of St. Maurice and Mrs. Charles Canterbury of Florien and two grandchildren.
