A. Yelverton of near Joyce, died at the Fittz-Faith Clinic here Thursday morning, January 18, 1934, following an illness of three weeks. He was brought here Tuesday morning with a ruptured appendix for an operation. Funeral services will be conducted at Sikes Friday morning with the Rev. J. M. Boyd, Baptist minister, in charge. The youth was a member of a well known family in this parish. Besides his parents he is survived by seven brothers and three sisters: Clyde of Winnfield; Hosea of Curry; Gappa, Martin, Buford, Welcom, and Earmon of Joyce; and Misses May Lizzie, Willie Virginia, and Bettie Ruth Yelverton, all of Joyce.
