Mrs. G. N. Young, 63, Dies; Rites At Jorday Hill

Funeral services for Mrs. Effie May Young, 63, of Doyline, were held at 3 p.m.
Friday at the Big Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. J. A. Cockerham, Harold
Pittman, C. S. Martin, and Willis Russell officiating.  Burial was in the
Jordan Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Young died at her residence Thursday, June 25, 1970, after a long
illness.

Mrs. Young was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the Fellowship Baptist
Church.

Survivors include her husband, G. N. Young of Doyline; a son, Nelson Young,
Doyline; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Long and Mrs. Roy T. Waxley, both of Winnfield;
two brothers, W. L. Jordan, Nederland, Tex., Clayton Jordan, Winnfield; her
stepmother, Mrs. Lillie Jordan, Winnfield, and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Benoit Crain, Carroll Young, Thomas Waxley, Ricky Jordan,
Mike Ferrell, and Eugene Rosier.
