Funeral Rites To Be Held for H. Young Friday

Herman Young, 29 years of age, who died Wednesday night at 10 o'clock at the
Pines in Shreveport, will be buried at the Bethlehem Cemetery north of Calvin
Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock.  His remains have been returned to Winnfield to
the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Tarver, where he resided before his death.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Alwin Stokes of Winnfield and Rev.
McDaniel of Laurel Heights.

Mr. Young has been employed by the Mansfield Hardwood Lumber Company and the
Winnfield Lumber and Supply for the past twelve years.

He is survived by his father, M. Austin Young of Calvin, one sister, and one
brother, who is serving in the armed forces overseas.
