Native of Hudson Community Dies In West Monroe

Robert E. Young, 92, resident of Rt. 2, West Monroe, died Thursday, December
28, 1967 at St. Francis Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at New Hope Church with burial in the
church cemetery.

Mr. Young was born and reared in the Hudson Community having moved away about
40 years ago.

Survivors include four sons, J. C. Young, Longview, Tex.; B. C. Young and V.
E. Young, both of West Monroe and Milton J. Young, Winnsboro; three daughters,
Mrs. Avril Butler, Ventura, Calif., Mrs. Gladys Sayler, Monroe, Mrs. Mildred
Kilpatrick, Montgomery; 22 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 3 great
great grandchildren.
