Mrs. A. L. Bates, sister of Mrs. Rufus Bonds of Wren Acres, passed
away June 24 at her home in Florien, La., after a long illness.
Mrs. Bates was 83 years old.

May 7, 1959 Brother of Mrs. Harry Fuller Dies

Ivy M. McNeely, 68, of Colfax, died in Alexandria May 4. Last rites
were conducted in Colfax. Mr. McNeely was the brother of Mrs. Harry
Fuller of Winnfield, who at present is residing in Baton Rouge.
