Zion Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Marshall Street Chapel for Mrs. I. W. Collier, 83, of Shreveport, who died Saturday, February 14, 1976 at her daughter's Bossier City residence after a long illness. A native of Winn Parish, Mrs. Collier had lived in Shreveport for 21 years and was a member of the Bible Missionary Church. Officiating were the Rev. Steve Robinson, pastor of Bible Missionary Church, and the Rev. D. M. Duke, pastor of Huntington Church of Nazarene. The Rev. Hoff Of Bible Missionary Church was the moderator. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Winn Parish. Survivors include her husband, I. W. Collier of Shreveport, a daughter, Mrs. W. B. Hunter of Bossier City; six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. February 18, 1976 Rites For Mrs. McIlwain Held Tuesday Mrs. Joanna K. McIlwain, 89, of Dry Prong, died Monday, February 16, 1976. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hargis Baptist Church near Montgomery with the Rev. Roy Moore and the Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband, George McIlwain, five sons, Murrell McIlwain of Atlanta, G. W. McIlwain of Columbia, Gene McIlwain of Shreveport, Gilbert McIlwain of Westlake, and Clifford McIlwain of Montgomery; five daughters, Mrs. Melba Royal of Many, Mrs. Audrey Howell of Natchitoches, Mrs. Lura Royal of Florien, Mrs. Mildred Futrell of Dry Prong. February 18, 1976 Burial For Jake Neal Held At Goldonna Funeral services for Jake Neal, 72, of Goldonna were held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home here with the Revs. A. S. Davis and James Gorham officiating. Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery for Mr. Neal who died at 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 1976 in St. Francis Hospital at Monroe after a short illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Zelma Neal of Goldonna, one sister, Mrs. Susie Clinton of Alexandria, a number of nieces and nephews. February 18, 1976 H. E. Taylor, Winn Native, Dies Thursday Funeral services for Henry Edgar Taylor, 65, of West Monroe, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church here with the Revs. Calvin Phelps and Eskel Tatum officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Winnfield under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Taylor died Thursday, February 12, 1976 at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, Tex., after a lengthy illness. He was an accountant for a pipeline company, a veteran of World War II, and a native of Winn Parish. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille Brooks Taylor of West Monroe; six brothers, Wilburn E. Taylor of Shreveport, Louie Taylor of Dodson, Lonnie Taylor of New Orleans, Hesley Taylor and Buford Taylor, both of Dodson, and William N. Taylor, Jr., of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. J. D. Frazier of West Monroe and Mrs. Dalton Weeks of Goldonna; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jerry Weeks, Lynn Taylor, Mark Brooks, Garland Taylor, Orland Frazier, Richard Brooks.
