H. Zimmerman Dies Thursday In Springhill

Funeral services for Henry Zimmerman, 78 year old Winnfield man, were held at
2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.  Burial was in
the Winnfield Cemetery.

Mr. Zimmerman died Thursday, April 4, 1968 in a Springhill hospital after a
brief illness.  He was a native of Iowa and a retired logger.

Survivors include three sons, Roy and Claude Zimmerman of Winnfield and W. F.
Zimmerman of Springhill; one daughter, Mrs. Sally Burkhalter of Minden; three
brothers, Fred Zimmerman of Winnfield, Howard Zimmerman of Springhill, and
Jeff Zimmerman of Selman City, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Blackwell,
Mrs. Alma Bashun, Mrs. Rosie Florie of Springhill, and Mrs. Lillian Waters of
Haynesville; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Billy Zimmerman, Donnie Zimmerman, Jimmy Zimmerman, Gene
Zimmerman, Terry Reeves, and Bill Edmonds.
