My grandfather had a small cabin that was next door to Auntie & Uncle Houston that he built himself, not the same side of the house as Woodrow & Vera Lee Blackstock house was located on. Grandpa also was a great fisherman. He taught me to fish at his fish camp when I was just a young girl. He shared the fish camp with one of his brothers, but I can't remember which one, either Uncle Lige or Uncle Abe, again, mom's uncles, we kids just called them what mom did. I may have a picture of her stepfather, O. L. Long, the picture wasn't taken when he was married to her mother, Mae Vaughn Franks, it's a later picture of him. He was who mom remembers as her daddy, because Odus (Otis) raised mom until she was about 15 or so, not grandpa. O.L. Long was married to Gussie Fay some time after my grandmother's death, (in 1935, mom was not quite 12 yrs old when her mom died), so we kids never got a chance to know him.
