This is a picture of Louisiana Jane Walker Duplissey. She was born August 23, 

1854 in Natchitoches Parish,Louisiana and died April 10,1950 in 

Glenmora,Rapides Parish,Louisiana.Her parents were James Walker and Samantha 

Jane Durbin. Her father died in the Civil War. In 1865 her mother married John 

W. Elkins and they lived in Winn parish. About 1870, Louisiana Jane Walker 

married Jeremiah (Jerry)Duplissey of Winn Parish. Sometime later they moved to 

Rapides Parish,Louisiana.
