Homer J. McMurry was born 21 July 1908 in Winnfield, LA to Rev. Elijah &
Clair Collins McMurry. He married Cassyle Howard and they had 3 children,
Homer Jr., Julia, and Yvonne. Homer worked for the Monroe City Police
department for 20 years and retired at the rank of Captain. He died 14 Sep
1997.
