Mr. & Mrs. David M. Tannehill

David Milton Tannehill and Nancy Murphy raised a family of seven children in Winn Parish.

David was born November 24, 1824 in Bibbs County, AL. He was the son of Ninian Tannehill and Mary "Polly" Prude.

David was a private in the 3rd LA Inf, and was captured at Snyder's Bluff MS. He died in the prisoner of war camp at Point
Lookout MD, as did his son William.

Nancy was also born in Bibbs County, AL, on December 04, 1824. She died August 23, 1876 in Tannehill, Winn Parish.
