THE WINNFIELD-NEWS AMERICAN Friday, September 10, 1937 DODSON COLEMAN-ETHERIDGE MARRIAGE SOLEMNIZED A wedding of much interest throughout Louisiana and Texas was solemnized Sunday at 3 o'clock, when Miss Dorothy Etheridge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Etheridge became the bride of Mr. Ernest Coleman, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Coleman of Houston, Texas. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents here with the Rev. Dr. B.C. Land officiating and using the impressive ring service Music was played on the violin by Mr. James Bevil, his selection being an Irish love song, "Danny Boy". The wedding march from"Lohengrin"" heralded the entrance of the wedding party and was continued softly during the ceremony. Miss Fay Etheridge of Houston, Texas, sister of the bride, who service as maid of honor, was lovely in a gray crepe dress. She wore a corsage of pink chrysanthemums. The bride was charmingly dressed in a navy blue crepe with matching accessories. Her bouquet was of pale pink orchid and yellow chrysanthemums with long satin ribbon streamers of a darker pink. After the ceremony as informal reception was held. The bride's table held the three-tiered wedding cake, which was topped with a miniature bride and groom. Delectable punch was poured by the bride's mother. Immediately after the reception, Mr. and Mrs. Coleman left on their honeymoon trip to various points in South Louisiana. After their return, they will be at home at Houston, Texas.
