TYLER-DOWNS

        A marriage of much interest among a large circle of friends in Winn
and
Caddo parishes was that of Tait Tyler and Miss Pauline Downs both of
Shreveport, La.

        The wedding ceremony was performed  Saturday, August 21, 1937, at
eight
o'clock in the evening at the Baptist church with the pastor
officiating.  Two hundred relatives and friends of the bride and groom
witnessed the ceremony.  They will make their home in Shreveport, where
the groom is employed as a machinist at the Inferno Co.

        The bride is the daughter of Mr. A. Downs of Shreveport, and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Tyler of Calvin.
