" State of Louisiana  Clerk's Office, Fourth District Court, Parish of
Caldwell

To any Judge, Justice of the Peace, or Ordained Minister of the Gospel,
Greeting:
You are hereby authorized and empowered to unite in the
Bonds of Matrimony and Holy Wedlock

Mr. John T. Worner and Miss Minerva J James both residents of the State
aforesaid, and to solemnize and celebrate said Marriage between said
parties according to the laws and customs of this State, and make your
return hereof as the law directs; and this shall be your authority for
so doing.

Given under my hand and seal of office this 9th day of August 1888.

I hereby certify that I have, on this day, in pursuance of the foregoing
license, celebrated and solemnized a Marriage between Mr. John T Worner
and Miss Minerva J James agreeably to the laws and customs of the State
of Louisiana.

In faith whereof, I have, together with the parties and undersigned
witnesses, signed this present on this, the 9th day of August 1882.

(Footnote added: John Thomas Warner 2/04/1859 Winn Parish - 11/18/1954;
son of David James Warner & Elizabeth Jane Branch; fifth of eight
children. Manerva Jane James 3/17/1869 - 12/27/1898; daughter of
Thomas J and Mary Adaline James. John Thomas & Manerva had five children.
Parents and most of this family buried at Union Church Cemetery.
