You are hereby authorized and fully empowered to unite in the bonds of matrimony and holy wedlock Mr David J Warner and Miss Elizabeth Branch both residents of said parish and state and to celebrate & soleminize the said marriage between the parties above mentioned agreeably to the laws and customs of the State of Louisiana, and make your return thereof as the law directs and this your authority for so doing. They were married in Caldwell Parish and moved to the Tannehill area of Winn Parish prior to 1855. Both are buried in Zion Hill Cemetery - his grave has a CSA marker, her gravesite is not marked. Were parents of eight children, His second wife was Louisiana Rebella Crissup, Aug 21 1845 - Jan 13 1930, married Nov 30 1866 in Winn Parish (court records lost). She is also buried at Zion Hill Cemetery - gravesite not marked. Were parents of ten children, including my paternal grandmother, Nancy Catherine Warner, Jan 12 1869 - Apr 14 1945. )
