State of Louisiana            12th Judicial District Court
Parish of Caldwell            Clerks Officer
   To any Ordained Minister of the Gospel or to any other 
person legally authorized to celebrate marriages in said 
Parish of Caldwell, Louisiana Greetings.
   You are hereby authorized to join in Marriage according 
to law Mr. William Williams and Mrs. M. Weatherford, there 
appearing no lawful cause of impedance to the same and make 
a return hereof within thirty days from the date hereof.  
Given under my hand and seal of said court this 12hd day of 
July 1864.

   By virtue of a license directed to me by the Clerk of the 
12th Judicial District Court did on this 12th day of July 1864 
with in the bound of matrimony Wm. Williams and Mrs. Mary 
Weatherford in presents of the witnesses who have hereunto 
attested this act with me.

Additional Comments:
Mary Jane Curry Weatherford Williams was the daughter of James William and 
Emily Johnston Curry.  Mary was born in Monroe Co., AL in 1842 and died in 
Winn Parish, LA in 1883.  She along with her father and husband are buried at 
Beech Creek Cemetery, Winn Parish, LA.  William Williams was born in Wilson 
Co., TN in 1813 and died in Winn Parish, LA 1875
