Davies State of Louisiana Parish of Winn Know all men, grant by these presents that we, Mary L. Belcher, Richard M. Plunkett, Sarah E. Johnson, James M. Plunkett, William T. Plunkett, Leanna Jane Cocks (Cox), Edna E. Rogers, & Rebecka Ann Kimbrell, of said Parish and State have and by these presents do make, constitute and appoint Joseph M. Plunkett (our father) of same state and parish our true and lawful attorney to settle and transfer any and all propertys that we may be interested in to making Him our lawful atty in fact, for us and in our name, place, and stead, to take possession of to ___ for and recover, manage, and control any and all lands to which we are entitled in the above name state to compromise or sell said lands at such price and on such terms as we heirs atty may deem proper, to collect all moneys which may be coming to us and generally to do anything which he might or could do in the premises if present to make warrant deeds with full power of substitution and revelation hereby notifying and confirming all that our said atty may lawfully do in the premises by virtue thereof, witness our hands this the 8th day of April AD 1899 Attest: J.
