From 1956 to 1973 Mr Boggess was the owner and operator of Jordan Village in Chatham [formerly his in-law's property]. He worked with Great American Life Insurance Co [under Walter Head] in St Louis, Mo for 25 years and then spent 23 years as owner and operator of the Golden Eagle Party Boat, out of Wychmere Harbor.       While in south Florida area, Mr Boggess was a member of the Hillsboro Beacon Yacht Club, the Shamrock Club, and he served as a volunteer with Boca Raton Community Hospital.       Mr Boggess is survived by his daughter, Sharon Boggess, of Sandwich, sons Stephen J Boggess of Chatham, and S C Boggess of Naples, Fla. Also surviving is his sister, Edith B Hough of Chevy Chase, Md , and his very dear friend, Judy Setariano of Boca Raton, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.       Memorial services were held Sept 25 in Boca Raton.       In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 West Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, Fla , 33486, in his memory.       Burial will take place in Chatham at a later date. She was also a resident of Chatham.       She is survived by her husband, S C Boggess, Jr of Boca Raton; a daughter, Sharon Boggess of Sandwich; and son Stephen Boggess, of Chatham; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.       Memorial services were conducted March 5 at the Kraeer Boca Raton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts to Hospice by the Sea of the Boca Raton Community Hospital. He attended the Carthage schools, Western Military Academy, and Dartmouth College. Miriam was born 19 Oct 1913 in Waltham, MA to Bissiel Cook and Albert Jordon. Miriam & S C were married Oct 1932 in New Hampshire and had three children.and six grandchildren. They were at home in: Carthage, St Joseph, St Louis, Webster Groves, Missouri, Dearfield Beach and Boca Raton, Florida, and since 1969, summering at Cape Cod.
