"Massachusetts Soldiers And Sailors Of The Revolutionary War"
From pg. 562:
"Goodell, Amos, Bedford. Capt. Benjamin Walker's company, Col. Ebenezer 
Bridge's (27) regiment; receipt for advance pay signed by said Goodell and 
others, dated Cambridge, June 24, 1775; also, private, same company and 
regiment; company return [probably Oct. 1775]; also, order for bounty coats or 
its equivalent in money, dated Cambridge, Nov. 30, 1775."

From: History of the Town of Bedford, Middlesex County, MA," by A.E. Brown, 
1891, pg. 66-67:
"1775: In the second campaign of twelve [pg 67] months, we find Abraham 
Merriam, and in Capt. Benjamin Walker's company of the 27th regiment:
"2nd Lt. Ebenezer Fitch, Sgt Asa Fassett, private Amos Goodell..."
