She died at Weston, May  3, 1762; and he m. (2) (published Oct 29, 1762), Lydia Cutting, of Watertown.

3. John Goddard b. May, 1709; a cordwainer of Cambridge; died May  12, 1751 aged 41 yrs.

Hon. Edward Goddard, Esq., who m. June 1697, Susanna Stone; admitted full communion April 27, 1701. He resided at Watertown; a schoolmaster, April 12,  1697, until about 1707, when he moved to Boston where he was a teacher. He  moved to Framingham, Mar 25, 1714, where he taught a grammar school, several  years, and where he received numerous civil, military and  ecclesiastical appointments. p.9 and p.64, et seq.   Children:

Robert Goddard who m. at Watertown, Sept 1, 1717, Mehitabel Spring, who  died Nov 18, 1760, and he settled in Sutton (now Millbury), where he was a  Justice of the Peace and died May 8, 1785, aged 91 yrs. He m. (2) the widow,  Dorothy (Dwight) Child.  Children:

John Goddard, of Brookline, who occupied the homestead of his father, m. in 1725, Lucy Seaver, who died. He m. (2) Sept 4, 1729, widow Hannah (Jennison)  Stone. She died Dec. 4, 1777. She was a grand daughter of Samuel & Hannah  (Manning) Stearns, and her first husband's father, Jonathan Stone, was a  younger brother of Susanna, wife of Edward Goddard.  
In 1745, he  moved
to Worcester, leaving his son John Goddard on the homestead. He died  June 26, 1785, aged 87 yrs.

1. John Goddard, b. May 28, 1730, died April 13, 1816, aged 86 yrs. He was Representative of Brookline, 1785, 86, 87, 88, 90 and 1792. He m. June 28,  1753, Sarah Brewer who d. Jan 26, 1755, and he m. (2) Hannah Seaver, b. July  16, 1735; died May 31, 1821, aged 86 yrs. Children:

A. R. Cutter of  Portsmouth, N.H., but never engaged in the practice of it, on  account of unfitness of his constitution to endure its  hardships. After encountering much hard- ship and danger  in the service of his country, he entered into the drug business  in Portsmouth. (for an account of his talents, character  and public services, see, "Goddard Genealogy," pp.28-31)  He m. (1) June 5, 1783, Susanna Heath, dau. of John Heath of  of Brookline. He m. (2) June 5, 1788, Jane Boyd, b. Sept  25, 1763, eldest dau. 
of George
Boyd, Esq., of Portsmouth.  She died in childbed, Oct 11, 1790 and he m. (3) Dec 14, 1791, Mary Langdon, b. July 14, 1760, dau. of Rev. Samuel Langdon, D.D., of Portsmouth, once President of Harvard College.  She  died of apoplexy June 14, 1808 and he m. (4) January,  1811, Ann White b. Sept 15, 1768; died September 1832.  He died Dec 18,  1829, 
aged 73 yrs.   Children:
