He graduated, at the age of nineteen years, from Harvard College, Cambridge, Mass: He was the first pastor of the Church of Christ in Medway, his ministry extending from 1715 to 1722. Vid. THE CHURCHES. Nothing is known of his family beyond the following town record: "Jonathan Deming, the son of Mr. David Deming and Mariah his wife was born March 5, 1719." The Rev. Mr. Deming died in 1746, at the age of sixty-five years.
