Spellings are as they appear on the stone. Where I have typed a question mark in a parenthesis "(?)" means that I am not able to determine exactly what is engraved on the stone, but have taken an educated guess: e.g., "1853(?)" means "It appears to 1853. A question mark without a parenthesis "?" simply means that an alpha or numeric in a word or date cannot be exactly ascertained but again, an educated guess is made: "185?" means "eighteen-hundred-and-fifty-something. The stones are in good-to-excellent condition; however, one stone (CHUMMUC) was very worn. Finally, important to note is that I am extremely careful to ensure that NO STONES ARE DAMAGED DURING THIS PROJECT. *************************************************************************************************** MARY wife of THOMAS HIRSCH died May 2, 1873 aged 75 years THOMAS HIRSCH Died Jan 8, 1888 Aged 72(?) years.
