Carlton Corbett, of the firm of Corbett & Whitmore, dealers in real estate, was
born in Massachusetts, August 12th, 1831. In January, 1856, he came west and
located in Cherokee; has held the office of county recorder and treasurer, and
is one of the pioneers of Cherokee county.
