David Samuelsen - January 2002 ************************************************************************ Vol. 478 page 291 Case 11956 Fanny Aldrich Be it remembered, that I, Fanny Aldrich, of Douglas, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, being of sound mind and memory, but knowing the uncertainty of this life, do make this my last will and testament. After the payment of my just debts, and funeral charges, I bequeath and devise as follows: First. To Agnes S. Park, of said, Douglas, I give and bequeath the sum of one hundred dollars. Second. To Prudence Park Whipple, of said Douglas, I give and bequeath the sum of one hundred dollars. Third. All the rest, residue, and remainder, of all my property and estate, whatever it may be, and wherever it may be situated, I give bequeath and devise, unto George T. Aldrich, of said Goulas, to him and his heirs, to their own use forever. Fourth. I hereby constitute and appoint, the said George T. Aldrich, to be executor, of this, my last will, and request that he be exempted from furnishing surety or sureties on his offical bond. Fifth. I hereby revoke all former wills, by me at any time made. In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand, and in the presence of three witnesses, declare this to be my last will this Fourth day of November in the year, one thousand eight hundred and ninety.
