Worcester County, MA Will FINNERAN, Patrick Case #14535 Be it remembered, that I, Patrick Finneran, of the city and county of Worcester, in the commonwealth of Massachusetts, being of sound mind and memory but knowing the uncertainty of this life, so make this my last will and testament. After the payment of my just debts and funeral charges, I bequeath and devise as follows: First. The sum of one thousand dollars, to the Sisters of Mercy, in charge of St. Paul’s Orphanage, on Eighth Street, in said city of Worcester. The said sum to be expended by them at their discretion, for the purpose of said St. Paul’s Orphanage. Second. To my sister Ann Joyce, of said Worcester, the sum of Five hundred dollars. Third. To my sister Mary Joyce, wife of Thomas Joyce, of said Worcester, the sum of Ten thousand dollars. Fourth. To my nephew John Finneran and my niece Mary Finneran and Rose Finneran, children of my brother Matthew Finneran, all of said Worcester, the sum of One hundred dollars each. Fifth. To my nephew Andrew Finneran, son of my decesaed sister Catherine Finneran, of said Worcester, the sum of Five hundred dollars. To my nephew William T. Finneran, now an assistant priest at St. John's Catholic Church, in said Worcester and brother of said Andrew Finneran, the sum of Five hundred dollars. To my sister-in-law Margaret McCormick, of Boston, Mass, the sum of One hundred dollars. Sixth. All the rest and residue of my estate, both real and personal, whatever name and nature and wherever the same may be situated, I give, bequeath, and devise to my wife Ann Finneran and her heirs, provided she remains my widow. Seventh. I hereby nominate the said wife Ann Finneran to be the executrix of the will, and I desire that she may be excused from furnishing a surety or sureties on her official bond as such executrix. In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand and in the presence of these witnesses, declare this to be my last will this fifth day of November, in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety two.
