Laboring under indisposition of body but of a sound mind and memory calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament, that is to say first of all I commend my soul to God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth from whence it was taken, there to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor & executrix herein after mentioned and as touching my worldly estate with which it has pleased God to bless me within this life I give, devise and dispose of the same in the following manner viz, after the payment of my just debts and funeral charges. Imprimis I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Hannah Littlejohn all of my indoor moveables to dispose of as she shall best, also one third part of income of my real estate during the time that she shall continue my widow and also one third part of my personal estate at her own disposal. Item I give and bequeath my son John Littlejohn one third part of my real estate and also two thirds of the remaining part of my personal estate that I have not heretofore disposed of together with one half of my wearing apparel as his full portion. Item I give and bequeath to daughter Pamela Priest one third part of my real estate and also the other third part of my personal estate that is not given to my son John as above together with one half of my wearing apparel together with what I have already given her to be her full Portion, I do make and ordain my aforesaid wife Hannah Littlejohn and my son John Littlejohn to be my executor & executrix of this my Last will and Testament, and do now ratify and confirm this to be my Last will and Testament and in witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal this 15th day of July in the year of 1790, signed, sealed, published, pronounced and declared by the said Tilley Littlejohn to be his Last will and Testament in presence of the subscribers. We in the county of Worcester within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Findeth Greeting …….. Know ye that on the 19th of November 1793 The instrument hereunto announced purporting the Last will and Testament of Tilley Littlejohn late of Sterling in said county deceased was presented for probate by Hannah & John Littlejohn the executors therein named then present James Wilder and Abel Belknap two of the witnesses thereto subscribed who made oath that they saw the said testator sign, seal and heard him declare the said instrument to be his last will and testament and that they subscribed their names together as witnesses with John Kilburn & Nanny Brown to the execution thereof in the said testators presence and that he was then to the best of their judgement of a sound and disposing mind. I do prove, approve and allow of the said instrument as the last will and testament of the before named deceased and do commit the administration thereof in all matters the same concerning and of his estate whereof he died seized and possessed in said Commonwealth unto the before named executors well & faithfully to execute the said will & to administer the estate of deceased according thereto who accepted of sd trust & shall make a true inventory of said estate & render an amount upon oath of their proceeding, when thereunto lawfully required.
